What the coloring page generator does
Choose a style and the tool draws a brand-new coloring page right in your browser. There are four styles: mandalas, geometric patterns, flower patterns and simple scenes. All of the line art is our own, and every page is generated fresh, so each one is different.
Print your page straight away, or download it as a PNG or SVG file to print later. It's a handy way to keep a stack of fresh pages ready without buying a coloring book or hunting through image searches.
How to make a coloring page
- Pick a style: mandala, geometric pattern, flower pattern or simple scene.
- Press Generate (or the Space bar) to draw a new page.
- Keep generating until you find one you like.
- Press Print to print it at home or school.
- Or download it as a PNG image or an SVG file to save, share or print later.
Ways to use printable coloring pages
A quiet, screen-free break
Print a mandala or a geometric pattern, grab some pencils and put the phone away for a while. Repeating shapes make it easy to settle into a rhythm.
Kids' activities
Simple scenes are a good match for younger children. Print a few before a rainy afternoon, a long car ride or a visit to grandparents.
Classrooms and libraries
Because every page is new, you can print a different design for each child. Early finishers always have something to do.
Parties and events
Set out a stack of pages and crayons at a birthday party, a family gathering or a café table to keep little guests busy.
Color and art practice
Try shading, blending or a limited palette. Pick five colors with the random color generator and use only those.
Cards and crafts
Color a flower pattern and fold it into a handmade card, or cut out sections for scrapbooks and collages.
Group coloring
Print the same page for everyone at a family table or in a class, then compare how different each finished page looks with different colors.
Tips for printing and coloring
- Use thicker paper for markers. Ordinary printer paper is fine for pencils and crayons, but markers can bleed through.
- Choose SVG for big prints. SVG files stay crisp at any size, which is useful for posters or large sheets.
- Save ink. The pages are black line art on white, so print them in black and white.
- Try every style. Some children love bold, simple scenes, while older kids and adults often enjoy the detail of mandalas and patterns.
- Make a set. Generate a few pages in one go and print them together for a homemade coloring book.
- Want a drawing challenge instead? Try things to draw.
Questions
Are these random coloring pages free to print?
Yes. Generate as many pages as you like and print them at home, at school or at the library – no sign-up needed.
Where do the designs come from?
Every page is generated in your browser from line art we made ourselves. There are no traced or copied images.
Can I download a coloring page?
Yes. Download any page as a PNG image or an SVG file.
What is the difference between PNG and SVG?
A PNG is a regular image that works almost everywhere. An SVG is made of lines and shapes, so it stays sharp at any size.

Yes. Mandalas, geometric patterns and flower patterns are popular with adults as well as kids.
Can teachers print a class set?
Yes. Print the same page for everyone, or generate a new one for each student so every child gets a different design.
What styles can I choose?
Four: mandalas, geometric patterns, flower patterns and simple scenes.
